Ps Processing with Decorrelating Targets
نویسنده
چکیده
The strength of PS SAR interferometry stays with the availability of point-like targets coherent over many years [2]. In a previous work [4] we have investigated the possibility of extending the analysis to targets showing less ideal scattering properties, through the introduction of a covariance matrix estimated from the radar images. However since it is applied to a late phase of the processing, after the stage of atmosphere phase screen (APS) estimation, it proves useless when and where the APS estimation isn’t completed successfully in the first place. This is the case when we have a number of pairs with relevant geometric or temporal decorrelation but we don’t want to trade resolution with SNR. In this work we discuss a way to deal with non ideal targets at the earliest stage of PS processing, presenting the results from a DEM estimation algorithm applyied to Mt. Etna ERS-1/2 Data.

Abstract We propose an extended one-shot decorrelating detector (EOS-DD) for asynchronous DS/CDMA systems in frequency selective fading environments. The EOS-DD extends a processing window to several symbol duration. The received signal over an extended window is utilized for the decorrelator in the EOS-DD. The effects of the window size on BER performance are investigated by numerical analysis...
متن کاملRobust Space-Time Adaptive Processing Using Projection Statistics
In this paper, projection statistics (PS) are applied to detect and mitigate outliers in adaptive processing algorithms. Outliers present in training data result in slow adaptive processor convergence. In radar, these outliers may arise from clutter discretes, desired targets, or jammers. PS provide a computationally tractable technique for identifying and mitigating outlier data samples prior ...
متن کاملTransmitter-based processing for the down-link DS/CDMA systems with multiple transmit antennas
There have been various receiver-based techniques for performance improvement of wireless communications systems. However, receiver-based techniques have a restricted application in the down-link because they increase computational complexity of the mobile station (MS). In this paper, a transmitter-based processing scheme for the down-link direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS/CDM...
متن کاملA Novel Method for Detecting Targets on Inactive Radars Using an Adaptive Processing on the Ambiguity Function (RESEARCH NOTE)
In this paper a novel method for detecting targets in inactive radars is presented. In this method, the time history of cellsof the ambiguity function is used for detection. For this purpose, the cell history is considered as a random field. Then, using adaptive filter, the string time of the desired target are separated from the string time of noise and clusters in the environment. In order to...
